The Corpus Christi Chapter was formed in 2016 with a mission to work with local entities and be the voice of the local engineering community. The Chapter monitors the local municipal agencies and works in tandem with member firms to continually champion for our industry.

For over 25 years, the American Council of Engineering Companies of Texas Public Policy Council (PPC) has been fighting for Texas engineering firms. The ACEC Texas PPC first successfully lobbied the Texas Legislature for the removal of retainage for public transportation projects for design contracts. Since then, the PPC continues to be the voice for engineering in the state of Texas.

ADVOCATING FOR THE FUTURE OF TEXAS ENGINEERING
The ACEC Texas Public Policy Council (PPC) is the internal committee that develops and implements our legislative and political program in Texas. The PPC serves as the advocacy voice of Texas engineering where member firms work together to craft industry policy positions, coordinate all legislative and regulatory efforts, and develop recommendations for political contributions.
